Edit: it is now Wednesday, I still have no idea where my stuff is. This company has the worst communication ever. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU ARE UNDER A TIME FRAME. I was scheduled for pickup from 11-1. They finally showed up at 5:30. Now we are in the delivery phase. The driver called Saturday and said he would deliver Sunday between 10-11. He NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED. So here I sit Monday with no way of knowing what is going on. My move coordinator is useless as no one can seems to have a way to get ahold of their driver. I am beyond livid and all of it could have been avoided simply with clear communication.
Im With The Comment Below..... Sent a crew down and packers was great .... Move crew not their fault was sent with a truck to small... So it pushed our delivery time back a day due to the company having to send another truck to move the rest of our things.... And again those movers was great both teamsNow the fun begins .... No communication on when our stuff is to get here .... Fri and Mon was our delivery time .... Its Tues .... No Delivery.... We was told late yesterday that our things are in storage in Atlanta.... Waiting to be loaded on one Truck .... Im a truck driver off since last weds waiting on are things... My wheels not moving means that I dont get paid!!! Now our Move Specialist is saying they dont have drivers ... Ill drive my things down if you are that short... But what can We do .... Just Wait... And Wait ... And Enjoy Our Lovely Air Mattress ... And I Pad tv.... #extremelyfustrated
I know moving experiences are extremely individual, but my husband and I had a very good experience with Berger in our cross-town move. The crew (except the person who was supposed to pack) showed up right on time. The foreman, Heath, and the entire crew were good at communicating with us, so everything ended up on the truck, and it all made it into the right places at the new house. The crew took excellent care of our belongings, and if there was any damage, it must have been negligible. As a bonus, the crew members were very friendly and seemed to have a good rapport, which made a tedious experience a lot better.A separate company (subcontracted by Berger) handles unhooking and reconnecting washers and dryers, and they also were nice, professional, and on time at both houses.Based on our move, I highly recommend Berger, especially since this was our second very good experience with Allied.
Worst moving company in the Atlanta area - best advice I can give is to not use them. Driver and loaders were rude and intimidating from the moment they walked into my home. Items were packed in haste and when requested to wrapped furniture better I was told "that they were the professionals and knew what they were doing" as you can see from the pictures they were not. I have ripped leather, crushed boxes, damaged wood and a hole in the back of my armoire. They knew my items where going into storage so who knows what the items in boxes will look like when opened next month. Whatever savings they may have compared to other moving companies is not worth it. Berger and their staff have been nightmares since day one.
Two moves in four months with Berger Allied. They first moved us to temporary housing until we could close on our house. Fantastic job by Nakita and Team. Second move was last week and I specifically requested Nakita and Team. Same Team, Same Awesome Service!!! Thank you guys for your hard work, I will most certainly use Berger Allied in the future.
