Great place to go when you need something quick and don't want to hassle with the big box stores. It is locally owned and I like to support local businesses. The workers are always easy to find and very knowledgeable to help you find just what you need. Great at answering all your questions.
They're the cleanest and most organized and most helpful of any hardware store. Also, they have the biggest selection, unless you count Home Depot a hardware store!

So I have to be completely honest here. 7 out of 10 times I enter the store I find the service to be snappy to downright rude. But I keep going in there because I do find things I need in the fastener aisle that cannot be found at the big box places. And they will help you, but are generally not too friendly about it. And I did encounter the most unfriendly cashier of all time on my last visit on Monday. So I am torn. I find the stuff I need, and I long for the good ol' days of the local hardware store and this is as close to it as I can find, but I just wish they were more welcoming. I mean, they greet you, but in that "we are keeping an eye on everyone to prevent shoplifting" kind of manner. And when I ask for help, it seems I am inconveniencing them in some way. It makes me wonder about all the reviews here extolling the friendly service. I pretty much never see it, and I am in there once every two weeks at least. I will keep going in because I get the products, but I know it will not be the experience economy I am looking for.
A smaller store by today's standards, but willed with all the knowledge and helpfulness you could ever want. I love stopping here to shop, because I know the staff will stop whatever they are doing to help me out when I need it.This Ace is the helpful place
